ThreadCircle
A calm, full-screen fidget toy for Android — glowing orbs, smooth physics, no accounts, no ads.
Why ThreadCircle?
Sometimes you just need something tactile and visual to unwind — not a game with levels or scores,
but a small sandbox on your phone. ThreadCircle is built for that moment.
- Instant play — open the app and touch the screen; nothing to configure.
- Satisfying feedback — orbs glow, grow under your finger, and bounce with simple physics.
- No pressure — no login, no in-app purchases, no notifications asking you to come back.
- A little challenge — a silver metallic orb drifts across the screen and adds light risk to your creations.
The app started as a minimal circle toy years ago and was rebuilt with a dark neon look, smoother motion,
and clearer rules — still the same idea: play for thirty seconds or ten minutes, your choice.
How to use the app
ThreadCircle uses the whole screen. System bars stay hidden until you swipe from the edge.
-
Press and hold anywhere to spawn an orb under your finger.
Keep holding — the orb grows for up to a few seconds (bigger orb, bigger bounce).
-
Release to let go. The orb starts moving and bounces off the edges of the screen.
-
Tap and hold again to add more orbs. Each one gets a random color from a bright neon palette.
-
Watch them mix — overlapping glows and colors create a soft, layered look on the dark background.
Tip: Try one large orb first, then several small ones. Rotation and foldables are supported — your orbs stay on screen when you turn the device.
On-screen controls
Three glass-style buttons sit at the top of the screen:
Count
Shows how many of your orbs are on screen (e.g. “5 orbs”).
